Lanvi Nguyen: Multiple Flash Tableaux

The Deconstruction of Reality; The Construction of the Intangible In Between

Aperture: F/3.5 Shutter Speed: 1/50 sec.
Flash A (behind far left curtain): 1/16 power.
Flash B (camera right, over the shoulder angled down): 1/32 power.

Replication Images:

Armie Hammer for Vanity Fair, Bruce Weber
Mostly natural lighting from windows. Perhaps a large light softbox overhead camera right to soften the shadows from the lights coming in from the windows. Large gold reflector camera left to fill in the guitar and body shadow.

Still Image from the film Chop Suey, Bruce Weber
Since this is a still image from a movie, the lighting could be natural or completely artificial. Let's say that the golden glow on the subject came from a setting sun, there might be a large softbox overhead for some fill into the car and torso and hair light.

Heath Ledger for Vanity Fair, Bruce Weber
This image is mostly natural lighting, but I would still like to replicate this.
